Every morning, before the first bell rings, our 54 dedicated crossing guards are already at their posts, standing watch at corners across our 11 neighborhood schools.

Rain or shine. Heat or cold. Snow or wind.

They show up with bright vests, watchful eyes, and welcoming smiles — greeting students, offering high-fives, and making sure every walker arrives safe and sound.

They are more than traffic directors.

They are protectors.

They are encouragers.

They are steady, reassuring faces who help start and end each school day with confidence.

Today, we say a HUGE THANK YOU for your dedication, consistency, and care. Your commitment does not go unnoticed, and our community is stronger and safer because of you.

If you see one of our crossing guards today, flash a smile, give a wave, or offer a warm “Thank you!” They truly deserve it.
