Playoff 2025

Playoffs 2025LINDEN PUBLIC SCHOOLS, NJ –- It’s playoff season in Linden.

Both the Linden High School varsity football and girls’ volleyball teams are headed into postseason action.

The Tigers football team, led by Head Coach Mark Ciccotelli, will face top-seeded Bridgewater-Raritan in the NJSIAA North Jersey, Section 2, Group 5 Quarterfinals on Friday, Oct. 31, at 6 PM. Linden (3–6, 1–3 Big Central–Liberty Gold) has battled through adversity this season, earning its playoff spot with resilience and steady improvement each week.

“Each and every week, we’ve gotten better,” Ciccotelli said after the Tigers’ Homecoming win on Oct. 10. “There’s no quit in these kids. There’s a lot of character in this team, in this city.”

That never-quit mentality will again be tested as Linden takes on Bridgewater-Raritan (6–3, 1–3 Big Central–American Silver) under the lights this Friday.

Meanwhile, the Linden girls’ varsity volleyball team is also preparing for postseason play. Under Head Coach Mark Radil, the Tigers (3–20, 1–11 UCC–Mountain Division) will travel to face Phillipsburg in the NJSIAA North Jersey, Section 2, Group 4 Tournament First Round on Monday, Nov. 3.
