LINDEN PUBLIC SCHOOLS, NJ -- Superintendent Atiya Y. Perkins of Linden Public Schools took center stage as one of five featured superintendents during a high-impact panel discussion at the New Jersey School Boards Associationโs โWorkshop 2025,โ where she showcased how Lindenโs district-wide use of Apple technology has revolutionized learning across all grade levels.
The session, titled โLeadership in Action: Aligning Technology with School Priorities,โ was held on Day Two of the stateโs premier education leadership convention, hosted October 21โ23 at the Atlantic City Convention Center. Perkins joined fellow education leaders Dr. Edward Aldarelli (Edison), Erskine Glover (Hillside), James Earle (Trenton), and Rashon Hasan (Plainfield) to share how their districts are leveraging Apple technology to empower educators and students alike.
โTools will evolve. Technology will change. But our focus must always remain on the children โ as creators, innovators, and leaders,โ Perkins told the audience. โThey constantly show us who they are, and itโs our job to continue to expose them, guide them, and lead them forward.โ
