The pitching mound has been empty for weeks, spikes packed away, and training for fall already underway. But the spirit of Linden’s spring athletes continues to echo across the city. It would be remiss not to extend our gratitude to the students, coaches, trainers, and everyone who helped make the 2025 spring sports season both historic and unforgettable.

Across multiple sports, Linden athletes carved their names into the record books. The Track and Field team, in particular, shined—bringing home medals and milestones. Warren Jean set not one, but two new records in a single day. Meanwhile, the middle school team made history by capturing the county championship. From Joseph Mesko’s powerful discus throws to Marie Paul’s graceful domination over the hurdles, our athletes proved that Linden truly ROARS!

If you spotted t-shirts around schools reading “MAKING HISTORY,” you witnessed something special. For the first time ever, Linden introduced Girls Flag Football—and it was more than just a new sport, it was a statement. The team not only embraced the opportunity but excelled, winning five of their last six games. Several players earned All-First and All-Second Team honors, signaling a bright future for the program.

This past season reminded us that with focus, teamwork, and dedication, anything is possible. The momentum is already fueling summer workouts as students prepare to return stronger in the fall. We thank our student-athletes for their relentless effort, and we’re grateful to the coaches, families, and staff who continue to help them grow and thrive—on and off the field.
