school 1 door contest

LINDEN PUBLIC SCHOOLS, NJ -- Step into history as 5𝙩𝙝 𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧 𝙇𝙪𝙞𝙨𝙖 𝙀𝙡𝙜𝙪𝙚𝙧𝙖 takes us on a tour through the powerful, vibrant hallways of School No. 1, where doors are more than just entrances—they are portals to the past, present, and future.

As part of our Black History Month celebration, each door in our school became a tribute to icons who shattered barriers and paved the way for change. From trailblazers in civil rights to pioneers in science, sports, and the arts, these doors stand as a visual testament to the power of resilience, courage, and love.

Creativity was in full force as students poured their hearts into a contest showcasing these influential figures. But beyond the competition, this project was a lesson in legacy—a reminder that knowing who we are is credited to those who came before us.

Perhaps one day, our students will be the history-makers, inspiring future generations to decorate doors in their honor. Until then, we continue to learn, celebrate, and ROAR with pride through the halls of School No. 1!
