mms earth day

While most students enjoy a well-earned Spring Recess, our McManus Middle School 𝗙𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝗻 𝗘𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 — and in the most inspiring way!

𝗢𝗻 𝗧𝘂𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟭𝟱, more than 25 students took to their home waters at Wilson Pond, not to fish, but to clean. With gloves on and garbage bags in hand, they walked the perimeter of the pond and park, removing trash and showing how much they care about their local environment.

Mark your calendars! Linden High School students are stepping up in a big way—leading a citywide clean-up to cap off Earth Month. From designing custom Earth Day tees to mapping clean-up zones, they’re turning awareness into action. Let’s get behind them as they prove that Tiger pride means protecting the planet!

Catch the Fishing Club every Friday through May—and don’t forget: Earth Day isn’t just a day. It’s a movement.
