Linden Football is turning up the heat this summer — and not just from the sun.

Under the direction of 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐂𝐢𝐜𝐜𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢, 𝐚 𝐦𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢-𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐚 𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐬, the Tigers are in full summer conditioning mode. Ciccotelli takes the reins from Al Chiola, who stepped down after 10 seasons at the helm — ushering in a bold new era for the Tigers.

With 15 seniors gone, it’s a young squad this year — but don’t count them out.

𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐟 𝐚𝐭 𝐓𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐮𝐦, 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬, 𝐛𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐧 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥.

“We’re young” said AD Mike Firestone, “but Coach Ciccotelli has the right stuff to get the best out of these players.”

And that’s saying something — Ciccotelli’s résumé includes multiple championships and a reputation for turning teams into title contenders.
